Eagles!

Today was ocean's day and in celebration our whole school took to the beach to learn about the seas. Several fish were caught and cut-up to be distributed amongst the villagers. The local birds, predictably, went to town on the remaining bits and pieces of fish. Included here are some of the unedited shots I took of the local eagles and ravens eating. I was quite blown away by the shear numbers of birds around us.

These are beautiful large birds, they were easily the same size as the grade two student standing beside me.
